Little, black, but crazy. Baseus Picogo 10,000 MAH 20W – review
Powerbank is such a rather inconspicuous, but a very useful device. You can safely call him a quiet hero of many unexpected situations in the field, such as the falling battery on the phone, because we “forgot” to connect him to charging in the evening. Baseus Picogo 10,000 MAH is such a handy friend who is not always remembered, but appreciates every time he comes to the rescue. It is clear that the creators did not put pressure on the speed and charging power. This equipment was to be practical, small and handy. And it came out great!
Appearance straight from the Dark Knight
I will start with Powerbanka design for the very start. Apparently, a good impression can be made only once, and Baseus has succeeded without a doubt. A beautiful black mat (although it depends on how to look and the light reflects, because sometimes it is gray and navy blue at the same time), shapely and well lying in your hand – do you need something more? I will mention that black is my favorite color, so the powerbank suits me too much. You can easily hold it in hand with the phone, without fear of slipping. An elegant device for more civilized times-paraphrasing Obi-Wan Kenobi. In my opinion, the biggest plus is a display showing us how many batteries remained in our device. Like only numbers, but better than guessing how much a percentage is left based on a few flashing diodes. I was personally irritated by such a solution. Well, let's put 3 out of 4 diodes, how much is it? 75%? Less? Or maybe 60%?
Baseus Picogo 10,000 MAHBASEUS PICOGO 100,000 mAh is shapely and handy. It weighs 170 grams. We'll fit it in the pockets without a problem. We can throw it into a bag or backpack so that it is always at hand. It doesn't take up much space, Aio “food” doesn't ask too much. It is not a brick in the style of powerbanks with a capacity of 20 or 30,000 mAh, but a small device that we will take almost everywhere.
Fight against patience
I must admit that in my case, Baseus's main task was to maintain my Pixel 7 in the field, when I had to the nearest socket than left -wing views. And here the first problem began. While when the phone was not used by me and loaded alone, the results were at most good. Full charge, i.e. from 1% to 100%, took about 2.5 hours. I would not call it fast charging, and more like Zen charging – calmly, in meditation to achieve nirvana.Baseus Picogo 10,000 Mahniezo was also impressive, the ratio of energy also came out. For one percent of the Powerbanka battery, they were loaded two percent on the phone, if, as I mentioned, the phone was not used. When playing, browsing the thicket or any other use, the battery on the phone did not load at all or even slightly. You can safely say in such a situation that Baseus saved the phone from discharging instead of charging it.
Full charging of my Pixel 7, i.e. from 1% to 100%, took about 2.5 hours. Quick charging cannot be called.
Dualsense turned out to be an unexpected winner. From laziness and lack of willingness to pull the cable throughout the room (yes, I have other pads, but I never want to connect them to charging) I connected the controller to the Powerbanka. Honestly? I just had “wow!” on the face. Not only that the pad loaded much faster, I could still charge it five times. And while playing!Dualsense Edgeod controller at that moment Baseus became my regular companion at evening playing sessions. It may seem trivial, but who did not piss off the fact when during a tiring fight with the boss or a pile of enemies, the controller disconnected? Half poverty when the game automatically turns on the pause. Woe when there is no such function.
What if …? – Baseus version
And what if it gave a real charge in such a powerbank? Then Baseus Picogo 10,000 mAh would become almost perfect. You could be tempted to induction charging (as in the tested Baseus Picogo Qi2 5000 mAh), but in the field it is an unnecessary baig. Personally, I treated this powerbank mainly as equipment that takes on tour or city. The induction can be in a home charger. Overbank has a total of three USB ports-two USB-C and one USB-a, but it should be noted here that USB type C act as an input and output, and USB-a-a-a only as a way out. This means that the powerbank is charged via USB-C with the maximum power of 18 W. In turn, the maximum output power is the title 20 W.Baseus Picogo 10,000 mAh-I also have been using USB ports that USB-C ports could be slightly improved. For charging the phone or raining – great. To other devices? Not really. I am mainly about recharging the milling machine to models, or connecting LEDs in the Gundama or Lightbox model. There was no tension. The only solution was to connect the cable to classic USB. I must admit that I was surprised. Although first terrified, because I thought LEDs burned down.
Baseus Picogo 10,000 MAHPODC, Baseus Picogo 10,000 MAH is a good, ad hoc powerbank, for extreme accidents, but not mainly as a charging device. But perfect for slightly lazy players, like me. If we want to recharge your phone on the road, it will be suitable. But at home I will choose a normal charger – it is much faster and you can use the phone without fear that you will not charge. Looking at the price, which is about PLN 100, without a doubt, the powerbank is worth such an expense.
