At the Motor Bike Expo 2022, held in Verona, Italy, among the many customizations presented there was also the “Tribute Carlo Talamo”, created by Officine GP Design using a Triumph Speed ​​​​​​Triple to honor Carlo Talamo, a very important figure in the international success of brands like Triumph and Harley-Davidson.

The starting point for this project was a 1993 Speed ​​​​Triple T309, equipped with a new rear subframe to house the new handcrafted aluminum sterndrive, intentionally shaped to resemble the machine desired by Talamo in its famous versions. special “ALU”.

Glossy dark green metallic paint hugs the fuel tank and is embellished with a dedicated motorcycle nameplate. The modern front and rear lights are full LED and come from the Italian Rizoma catalog, which also supplied the direction indicators (arrows), the handles and other side accessories.

The new exhaust system is a product of HP Corse, while for the lubricants green products from Piemonte Olitema were used, which at MBE 2022 received the bike at its stand along with “Inception”, another special created for this latest edition. of the event by Officine GP Design itself.

Luca Pozzato, head of the workshop, highlighted the spirit that guided him and his collaborators in the creation of this machine. “Working on this special brought strong emotions to the entire team, as it allowed us to relive the story of a man who, with his vision and commitment, was able to build and fulfill the dream of a lifetime.
