Animation that celebrates national biomes hits theaters in July
The movie Thiago & Isis and Brazil's biomes opens in theaters on July 24. The feature film combines animation and live-action to tell an engaging story about the richness and diversity of Brazilian biomes. In the adventure, the brothers Thiago and Isis depart with their father on a journey through the country's main biomes – Cerrado, Pantanal and Atlantic Forest. At each stop, they face new challenges, know threatened animals and unveil hidden secrets in the wild. Thiago & Isis and Brazil's biomes debuts in theaters after a successful trajectory for 25 national and international festivals, which earned him seven awards. Highlights include the best children's film awards at Festin (Portugal), Best Environmental Documentary feature at New York Documentary Film Awards 2024, and best feature film direction at Portugal Indie Film Festival 2024. The release comes at a symbolic moment: the same year Brazil will host COP30, a global conference on the 10th, scheduled to occur. and November 21 in the city of Belém.
