
Mike Peters, singer of The Alarm, dies at 66
Mike Peters, artist of the rock band The Alarm, died at age 66. He had chronic lymphocytic leukemia for over 30 years and was diagnosed with an aggressive version of the disease in 2023 that caused his death. The Alarm was a rock band from Wales formed in the early 1980s, which gained prominence with hits such as 68 Guns, The Stand and Strength. The letters bring themes such as hope and resistance.
