Ukrainian gymnast about Russians: “We are trying to move away from them, getting caught in the eye, have no contacts”

The 17-year-old Ukrainian gymnast Taisiya Onofrichuk gave an interview in which, among other things, she answered the question of Russian athletes. “In your sport, they are gradually returning to the carpet in the neutral status of Russians and Belarusians. How is it worth reacting here, how are you approaching this? ” -Onofriychuk asked. “Yes, there are neutral athletes in some competitions, but we try to move away from them, getting caught in the eyes of them and not at all in contact with them,” Taisiya answered. “Do they try to talk with you or somehow hook?” – They specified the Ukrainian gymnast. “Probably not. But we are just very moving away from them in order not to have any contacts with them, ”concluded Onofriychuk, whose words quoted the Ukrainian site OBOZ. In the beginning of June, Ukrainian media reported that Onofriychuk became the youngest absolute champion of rhythmic gymnastics in the history of Ukraine.
