With powerbanki it is so that you would like as low as possible, but with the largest capacity. In the case of network chargers, GAN technology helped here, which allowed to significantly reduce the size of the charger, while increasing performance and retaining safety standards. Unfortunately, this is not the case with powerbanki, they have become a little more compact, but more focused on functionality here. They load faster, they can charge wirelessly and so on. Recently, I came to some accessories from the new Baseus Picogo series and the first I tested is the Powerbank Baseus Picogo Qi2 with a capacity of 5000 mAh. What can he
The first thing that catches the eye and what you feel when you take this powerbank in your hand is indeed its small size. Without any great records, but it is small and handy, and the closest to which you can compare this box with cards for playing. The first one occurred to me. It weighs about 170 grams and it would probably be much less if it wasn't for the metal and really solid construction. Let's agree, such a weight with a capacity of 5000 mAh does not impress at all. There are not much heavier powerbanki, like the Green Cell Powerplay 10 tested by me a few years ago, which is 10,000 mAh, but in turn is all plastic. Here they went towards a higher quality, but also a certain compromise, so that the powerbank is convenient, he did not weigh more than a smartphone, which he charges and gave at least one full charging. We can easily put it in your pants pocket, slide it somewhere in the backpack or we will use it fairly comfortably when it is “glued” to the back of the smartphone (about which below).Baseus Picogo Qi2 5000 I have to admit that it appears visually to me. This model Baseus Picogo Qi2 is elegant, it looks solid and made of good materials. You can immediately feel that it is metal. It's really very good in this respect. What doesn't suit me? You will say that I pick on, but as an zealously pedantic person, I sniff a bit that the metal part of the housing quickly collects greasy dirt, and the matte top, not only that it gets dirty, it is also susceptible to scratches. And seriously, I don't know where and where, but in three points I see abrasions that were not there yesterday.
Baseus Picogo QI2 charges wired and wirelessly, supports Magsafe and Qi2.
I mentioned that the powerbank is small and functional. I have already written about his physical qualities, so now I will focus on what is hidden under the word “functional”. Baseus Picogo QI2 can charge the device wired, but also inductively. Wired, because it has one USB-C, which is used for charging the powerban, but also the device connected to it. The latter option is related to the fact that Powerbank supports wireless charging in the Qi2 standard with a maximum power of up to 15 W. It is also not directly written, but you can immediately find out after all press graphics that Powerbank also supports Magsafe from Apple. So, at least in theory, it can be written that it is the perfect equipment under the iPhone from model 15 up. We have magnetic charging and the latest Qi2 standard.
And now yes. Baseus Picogo Qi2 I did not test with an iPhone, because I did not have any nearby, and Google Pixel 9 Pro, which also supports wireless charging, but does not support the Qi2 standard. Or otherwise, you can attach it to the powerbank, but it probably doesn't hold as well as an iPhone. Pixel grabs every time in the same place and we can even raise it together with the PowerBank when the devices are horizontally. In the Powerbank vertical, he will immediately move under its weight and unhook. And here again the topic of the support appears, because I most often used wireless charging by putting a powerbank with a phone as in the photo below.
This powerbank cannot be denied, because it supports the latest Qi2 wireless charging, gets along with devices that have Magsafe, and a few pennies are added to practicality. In addition, this Baseus Picogo is mega well made, compact and does what it belongs to. It is a pity that it has only 5000 mAh (although otherwise it would not be so compact) and in the present time it will not provide even one fully charging battery on the smartphone.
