Hélio de la Peña says that Leo Lins's arrest “has no fit”

Who has the limit is the humorist and the audience. This means: humorist does not like, does not tell the joke, seeks another way. The audience does not like, will not laugh and applaud. What has the limit between the guy on the stage and the people in front of him,” reflects from La Peña. The comedian says he does not like to “speculate” about the relationship of other artists with his audience. “Casseta has always been a program used to talking to everyone. These problems happen a lot to people who were formed in bubbles, in niches,” he says.

Prison by humor text

De la Peña also commented on the conviction of colleague Leo Lins, who was sentenced to eight years in prison by the Federal Court. “I think there is no appropriate to go to jail, to jail, because of a humor text, even if it is bad, delicate, dangerous or, by the interpretation of part of the public, be prejudiced. It's all a matter of interpretation,” he reflects.
