Fagner says he was criticized for devoting himself to popular music

An artist faithful to his music, his audience and himself. So is Raimundo Fagner, name with captive place in the Pantheon of the Great MPB. Fagner travels the country with the show in which he celebrates 50 years of career, Marco reached in 2023, five decades after launching the anthological Manera Fru Fru, Manera. That same year, he fell into the graces of Nara Leão (1942-1989) and Elis Regina (1945-1982), demanding and unique interpreters, and in the following decade, he met popular consecration, since then, crowding concert halls around the country (and will not be different in Vivo Rio, where he sings this weekend).
