After having its release canceled by 20th Century Studios, the erotic thriller ' Deep Water ', starring Ana de Armas and Ben Affleck, has found a new home.
According to Deadline, the feature film was acquired by the streaming platform Hulu, which will take care of the production's domestic exhibition.
Amazon Prime Video will be responsible for the international release, including the movie's premiere on streaming in Brazil.
In the plot, Vic and Melinda Van Allen are an attractive young couple whose mind games take a turn when the people around them start turning up dead.
The couple avoid divorce in a loveless marriage, allowing each to have lovers of their own, but everything is in turmoil when the facade of suburban American life is exposed.
The feature is based on the eponymous book written by Patricia Highsmith and will be director Adrian Lyne's first film in nearly two decades. One of his most famous productions is 'Fatal Attraction'.
The cast also features Tracy Letts, Rachel Blanchard, Dash Mihok, Jacob Elordi, Kristen Connolly, Jade Fernandez and Lil Rel Howety.
Deep Water's date to reach Prime Video has yet to be released
